Once upon a time, landlines and TVs were available in only one out of ten homes. If someone had these items in their home, they were considered very wealthy. But now, just like clothes, everyone has access to mobile devices. The time when mothers had to show the moon to feed their children is long gone. We've reached a point where we give children mobile phones and tell them to watch YouTube while they eat. Along with children, we are also becoming vulnerable to these health issues. In this era, mobile phones have become indispensable. However, if we engage with it excessively and we keep our head bent for long periods while looking at it, it can lead to neck pain and other related health issues.
Prevention:
1. When using a phone, Every 10 minutes, you should look away from your phone and focus on something else.
2. Also, cultivate the habit of looking straight ahead without bending your neck while using your phone.
3. Simply say that, neck and sitting posture should be well maintained.
Sleep Distraction
Cause:
- Continuous use of mobile phones and laptops reduces the release of melatonin from the brain, which is responsible for inducing sleep. Also, it is causing lifestyle diseases like diabetes and blood pressure, which were once common in people over sixty, to increasingly affect the younger generation.
Prevention:
- Enable the Bedtime mode to enhance sleeping quality.
Mental Burden.
Cause:
- Young generations are ruining their lives by engaging in unusual activities just to gain instant popularity on social media platforms like Instagram, WhatsApp Status, and Facebook Story.
- Furthermore, they get addicted to online gambling games, lose money, and eventually resort to suicide, leaving their families in deep sorrow and helplessness.
Prevention:
- Enable the Focus mode to set screen time limits, take digital detoxes, and engage in offline activities.
Radiation Revelation Worries
Cause:
- In the world, from the uneducated to the educated, everyone places their mobile phone on their shirt pocket, also many others even place it on their pant pocket.
- As a result, problems like heart disease and infertility continue to rise like an ongoing saga.
- Furthermore, keeping the mobile phone near the head while sleeping disrupts continuous sleep, also, speaking for long hours with the phone on the ear affects the ear region.
Prevention:
- It is better to keep the mobile phone at a distance while sleeping rather than placing it nearby.
- When carrying a mobile phone somewhere, it should be kept in a bag.
